BASD STEM Career Exploration Camp

During the first four days of camp, students will become familiar with the SMARTlab environment at Fretz Middle School, will explore STEM career pathways within the SMARTlab curriculum, will program robots utilizing available software, and will then program their own take-away solar robots. The last day of the camp will find students becoming familiar with Industrial Design at Bradford Area High School by using inventor and CAD software as a basic introduction to the course.  Students will then transition to the Machine Shop where they will use the CNC machine for Industrial application. A graduation ceremony will be held as a culminating event at BAHS with all students receiving a certificate of completion of the STEM/Career Exploration summer camp.

For students entering 8th grade, Maximum number of participants is 30. Registration is open to Bradford Area School District students through May 1st, after that, registration will be open to students from other districts on a first come, first served basis.
