Coaching helps supervisors and managers build confidence and competence in employees. This course demonstrates action steps to take when you want to help employees take on new responsibilities, accept changes in their jobs, solve problems on their own, and become more comfortable with calculated risks. Participants will learn the role of a coach in an organization (why it is important, and when to coach others), how to create a positive work environment through coaching, the value of asking questions and listening to people, and skills you can use when coaching others.
