In this 3-session class, participants will create stenciled, stamped and gelli printed papers which they will use to create two in-class collage projects. Students will end class with a selection of handprinted papers, as well as their own Gelli Plate, brayer and stencils - so that the fun can continue. Teaching Artist Julie Mader will provide step-by-step instruction to ensure that participants will be able to continue exploring collage after the sessions conclude.
This workshop is supported in part by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
Dates: April 30, May 7, and 14, 2018
