STEM is an acronym for Science, Techology, Engineering and Math education. By combining these important topics, students will utilize their problem solving and critical thinking skills helping to prepare for their future. At Kids for IT, we will explore all aspects of STEM while "playing". Students will explore water bottle rockets, K'Nex sail cars, drones, robots and circuitry. Students will also dabble in computer programming (through building their own app) and computer networking (by building a LAN and playing MinecraftEdu on it). Each participant will receive an Ozobot, a tiny programmable robot, which will be theirs to take home at teh conclusion of the camp.
