Code Like a Pro (7.17.17)

Come to STEM Camp coding like a N00B and leave coding like a pro! We'll be coding with Ozobot, Lego WeDo, Lego WeDo 2.0, Scratch, Kodu, and Code.org.

This camp is for students entering grades 4 - 7 (2017 - 2018 school year) and maximum number of participants is 18 - 20.

Kids 4 IT will be a"MAZE"ing! STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math education. By combining these important topics students will utilize their problem solving and critical thinking skills helping to prepare for their future. At Kids 4 IT, we will explore all aspects of this quad while “playing" with mazes. Students will explore circuit mazes, gravity mazes, lazer mazes and even create their own. Students will dabble in computer programming through color language and blocking.

T.M.I. Summer I.T. Camp (Week 2)

Participants in this free camp will have in-depth experiences with MinecraftEdu, Linux Lubuntu Operating System, Programming/Coding, Hyperduino Microcontrollers, Geocaching, and the ability to explore a topic of their own (3D design/printing, Drones, Rockets, Legos, K'Nex, Ozobots, Role-playing games, Movie production/green screening, etc.) during our daily Genius Hour. Students will receive a Lubuntu computing system and Hyperduino at the end of the week.

This camp is for students entering grades 5 - 9 (2017 - 2018) school year.
