Understanding the Numbers - Clarion SBDC (May 2018)

Even if you do not have an accounting or financial background, you still need to know your numbers. Join us to learn about accounting methods, financial statements and financial analysis for your for-profit business. Hands-on exercises, Q&A sessions and group discussion will be incorporated throughout the seminar. Toics to be covered include: Cash Accounting vs Accrual Accounting; Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable; Understanding Balance Sheets, Income Statements and  Cash Flow Statements; Financial Ratios;  Common Sizing; and Break-Even Analysis.

Learn to Take Better Pictures (5.23.18)

If you're "photographically challenged," this class is for you! Bring your digital camera, and professional photographer, Curt Weinhold, will help you make sense of that confusing menu system. You will learn how to set up your camera for your particular situation. As time permits, you will also be introduced to some simple editing software, so you can properly edit your images.

T.M.I. (Think, Make, Improve) IT Camp (Week 1)

Participants in this week long camp will have in-depth experiences with MinecraftEdu, Linux, Lubuntu Operating System, Programming/Coding, Microcontrollers, Geocaching, and the ability to explore a topic of their own (3D design/printing, Drones, Rockets, Legos, K'Nex, Ozobots, Role-playing games, movie production/green screening, etc.) during our daily Genius Hour. Students will receive an official Raspberry Pi beginner kit at the end of the experience.

This free summer camp is made possible by generous donations through EITC funds.
