ECS 285 Learning Disabilities and Emotional / Behavioral Disorders

This course focuses on the nature of specific learning disabilities and emotional and behavioral
disorders and familiarizes the student with the classification systems and theoretical models.
This course also emphasizes the history, etiology, characteristics, assessment, and treatment/
instructional approaches as they pertain to children and adolescents in classroom settings.
