BUS 105 Business Foundations 3 credit hours
This course provides the foundation for the business program, helping students to gain a solid
understanding of the components of a business, its external environment, and the interactions
between them. Students will engage in decision-making and problem-solving exercises.
Ethics, leadership, employee empowerment, the impact of technology, and the global market
are also explored. Students will develop critical thinking, written and oral communication, and
team skills through case-based learning and a term project. This course is aligned with NPRC
Career Services Outcomes.
